Lorenzo Zandri is a photographer, artist and visiting lecturer, based in London.
Trained as an architect between Rome and Paris, he chose to dedicate himself completely to photography and the process of the image in architecture — deciding not to build things, but images.
His visual research On the Riverside was exhibited at the London Festival of Architecture 2019 and has been published across various platforms and books. His work has also been showcased internationally, across the US and Europe. Most recently, he exhibited at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2024.
Lorenzo collaborates with leading architectural practices and firms worldwide, documenting their projects through a distinctive visual language. His work is widely published in major architecture and design magazines, including DOMUS, Architectural Digest (AD), Dezeen, designboom, and iGNANT. He has also been invited to speak about his practice at international festivals, and leading institutions, such as The Architectural Association School of Architecture and the University of Cambridge.
He is also the co-founder of ROBOCOOP, an experimental research duo active since 2012. Through mediums like collages, installations, engravings, and photomontages, the project explores fictional and urban narratives that bridge historical and contemporary architectural visions.
Recognized as one of the 25 Emerging Architectural Photographers from Around the Globe by ArchDaily, Lorenzo is also a registered member of The Royal Photographic Society in the UK.
